Guido and his brother are the owner operators of Club Lago, Chicago's institution Italian restaurant. Like Grandpa Gus and father Francesco before him, he oversees all decisions from budget, menu composition, payroll down to pouring the wine and serving the food. It's been in his family for 70 years.
At home in Elmhurst, Guido is committed to a vibrant Uptown-the best way to attract new residents. He will advocate for fellow restaurateurs to continue their outdoor seating, the only positive takeaway from the Pandemic.
